WHAT IS IT

Engelmote is a remote control system

developed by Engel.

With EngelMote can control your En-

gelDroid through any Android device.

Can control the cursor, keyboard, multi-

media options and even let you comunicate through

voice orders. So EngelMote server is divided into En-

gelMote (Engeldroid devices installed) and Egelmote

(Android app).

Thereby, with Engelmote, the user can not only en-

joy on your television, can control it from your tablet.

CONNECTIONS

For correct operation, Engelmote must have the same

version on both devices, as Engeldroid as tablet or

Smartphone.

Otherwise, EngelMote cannot ﬁ nd any device or

connection with Engeldroid, or that the connection

established, be able be unstable.

You can check that the version is the same:

· In your tablet:

settings applications engelmote

Once you are in the Settings window and have

found EngelMote aplication between the apps lis-

ted under Applications, click on it and note the

version of the application (at the beginning of the

screen, next to the icon of the app).

· In your EngelDroid:

settings applications engelmote server

Check that the version, that appear in your tablet

is the same.

HORIZONTAL MODE

Depending on the position of your tablet, En-

gelmote chooses between two display modes,

adapting to the situation where a user is loca-

ted, providing his the options it considered most

appropriate in each case.

Thereby, EngelMote, once the tablet is provi-

ded horizontally, will adapt displayed in the fo-

llowing way:

1- Mouse Mode: moving the ﬁ nger across the screen

induces the pointer movement.

2- Keyboard Mode: Keyboard display.

3- Orders voice.

4- DLNA: access to view media ﬁ les located on other

devices.

5- Netstat: shows the connection status between the

EngelMote and EngelDroid.

6- Información: texts which indicated the engelmote

status.

7- Volume control.

8- Multimedia control: offering the possibility to

move to the next ﬁ le, the previous or give play or

pause, as required.

9- Android control: These controls allow you to do the

same actions on Android devices. Back (go back),

home (back to the home screen), menu, options ...

10- Control Mouse: almost the whole surface of the

screen acts as a control, in this manner, you can

move the mouse across the entire surface of the

tablet.

Note: If the versions aren’t same, must update.

In your tablet: look at the new .apk in

www.engeldroid.com

In your Engeldroid: Main menu -> updates informa-

tion -> search updates.

Note: For both, Engelmote as Engeldroid, work pro-

perly, make sure that your device is connected to

the Internet.
